My long-standing personal commitment to the environment is reflected in the way I design. All my projects have passive solar design and site ecology built into the initial concept. Meaning I look for all the ways your project can be designed to work with the local climate to maximise thermal efficiency, solar gain and natural cooling before introducing electric backup systems.

My design approach focuses on future climate and how to mitigate flood and fire, and reduce the maintenance issues homeowners face due to extreme weather. By creating smaller, simpler, more robust buildings, I strive to design homes that feel secure and comfortable in an unpredictable climate.
